Our Purpose

The purpose of the Hearing and Vision Programs is to screen all preschool children, school age children and community citizens.  Our goal is to identify at the earliest possible point any hearing or vision defects.  When hearing and vision defects are detected early we are able to enhance the quality of living so as to allow our citizens to benefit more fully from their environment and thereby decrease care costs.

For the preschool and school age child, we are ensuring through basic preventive health care, that our children will perform well academically.  This will enhance their physical, social, and psychological well being in society.
