We set standards to meet your needs and expectations when receiving a service from us. We want you to know what to expect. We are committed to creating an environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect at all times.

Finance Hours of Operation

Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Finance General Communication and Office Coverage Expectations

Telephone Inquiries:

  1. Telephone calls will be answered when staff are at their desk.
  2.  Voicemails will be reviewed and a return call will be placed no later than 1 business day. Every effort will be made to return calls within the same business day.
  3. If Finance is unable to assist the caller with their inquiry, every effort will be made to deliver the caller to the correct location/Service Area for their inquiry to be addressed.

Email/Website Inquiries:

  1. Emails will be acknowledged within 1 business day. If an e-mail request is expected to take longer than 1 business day, the acknowledgement will provide a date when the requested information will be available or provide a status update.
  2. Emails to individuals who are out of the office, will receive an automated email notification of when that individual will be returning to work and an alternate contact person.

General Finance Inquiries:

  • Any Finance Service Area staff can be contacted during business hours to address any general inquiries.  The staff member will do their best to assist in the inquiry, or direct the individual to the person that is able to resolve the matter.
  • The quickest and most efficient way to contact the Finance Service Area is to email the Finance Inbox at finance@allegancounty.org
