Information Services promotes, implements and supports the appropriate technologies within every Allegan County governmental process by providing technology based leadership and service. To accomplish this, the service area is comprised of two focused divisions providing the following core services:
Resource Planning and Project Management Team
The focus of this team is in planning, coordinating, and managing projects across the Allegan County organization to maximize efficiencies while working within the county's budget. This team also monitors and analyzes statistical data for purposes of maintaining dashboard data, strategic planning, performance metrics, and improving efficiencies in all service areas.
Technical Support Services Team
This team is primarily responsible for maintaining the entire Allegan County Information System (ACIS). This is inclusive of the following services for the County, including:
- Application and Web Development
- Document imaging and records management
- End user support
- GIS data management and mapping
- Infrastructure support
- Telecommunications (voice and video)
- Technology innovation services
