To help safeguard your property, be sure to write down serial numbers or identifying marks, and keep receipts whenever possible. Then, should a theft occur, be certain to report lost or stolen property so that we can return your items to you if recovered.

Stolen property that has been recovered, weapons being held for safekeeping, and found items are among the things that are stored and safeguarded in the Sheriff's Office's property room.

When property is taken from a person or residence in the course of an investigation or incident, or found property is turned in to the Sheriff’s Office, the form below will be issued to the owner or finder of the property to be used in reclaiming the property after the case is resolved.
