The Michigan Veterans Trust Fund can assist veterans with 180 days of wartime service (actual combat duty is not a requirement), who were honorably discharged, and who have the financial means to sustain themselves except for this emergency.  This fund can assist veterans financially with emergency needs such as:

• Rent/mortgage assistance*
• Car Repairs, tires, etc.*
• Necessary utilities, heat, electricity, etc*
• Car payments, insurance*
• Personal needs such as dentures, etc.

* Must be in Veteran’s name

Things Trust Fund can’t help with:

• Property Taxes
• Cable or phone bills
• Credit Card bills
