Licensed Title Description
No Temporary Food Service Establishment A temporary food service establishment means a food service establishment, which operates at a fixed location for a temporary period of time not to exceed 2 weeks. If you are planning a temporary food event, then follow the links below to the application and checklist.
Yes Fixed Food Service Establishments (FFSE) FFSE's are more commonly known as restaurants. If you are interested in constructing a new or remodeling an existing restaurant, you are required to follow the plan review criteria. Yes Mobile A mobile food service establishment means a food service establishment operating from a vehicle, trailer, or watercraft and must return to a licensed commissary at least once every 24 hours.
Yes Special Transitory Food Unit (STFU) A STFU is a temporary food establishment licensed to operate throughout the state without the 14-day limits or a mobile food establishment that is not required to return to a commissary. STFU’s are required to notify each local jurisdiction if they will be operating in their county by submitting a notice of intent (attached).
